From celebrities to regular house wives diamonds are very common but why do we want them for our wives and they feel special when you give them it.For 100's of years, mankind has been amazed by the beauty of the diamond. It is no surprise then that the discovery of what could turn out to be one of the largest examples of the gem has re-ignited our love affair with the stone. A 478-carat diamond, described by its finders as a near flawless example, has been unearthed at a mine in Lesotho. It is now being pored over by experts in Antwerp, but it is already being touted as one of the biggest polished gems in history.
